Breath/Yoga/Voice Exercises
........to try and enjoy
A breath-therapy exercise
- to deepen breath & loosen
This exercise activates and looses the lower breathing area under your lower hips downwards (there are no lungs anymore, but when you inhale the diaphragm lowers and moves your organs downwards/rib cage & body walls outwards).
Deepening your breath has a major impact on your autonomic nervous system (calm down) and your musculoskeletal system (move & loosen muscles, spine, rib cage from the inside; body straightening, diaphragm activity....). Enjoy these benefits :)

A breath based Yoga Flow
In breath-based yoga, the breath guides our movement. The movement matches the breathing. The breath serves us as a focus point to calm the mind in addition to the benefits of relaxation and regeneration. Breathing is also a feedback from the body about its well-being/level of exertion in a pose and thus also a safety factor.

A Breath-Yoga exercise to stretch from inside
Often we just recognize breath movement at the front side of our body (belly, rib cage..). In fact the breath moves the whole spine, muscles, fascia on the back of your body.

A breath exercise to loosen the wrists & pause
Feel free to try this exercise in the office and at work. Taking a break and letting go in everyday life is just as important to me as activity and the work itself. Small breaks can reduce our stress level and activate our parasympathetic nervous system. I recommend consciously incorporating such short exercise breaks into everyday life. Take your time for this exercise and keep your mind on the exercise and breathing. This is how you train your perception of your own body in this moment and notice what is good for you.

An voice therapy exercise to loosen your articulation organs
Articulation is one area of voice therapy. Good articulation helps us to form sounds, to be understood better, to appear more active for the listener and thus to relieve the vocal folds (located inside the larynx, vibrate to produce sounds). Awareness of our articulation organs and our articulation is the first step in improving articulation.
